of other

SUMMARY
REMARKS |
| Problems
on the
Trip: |
Guide
spoke very
little
English
- made
it difficult
to understand
and master
the exact
type of
cast and
retrieve
necessary
to attract
the fish.
Large fish
snapped
two rods! |
| Highlights
of the
Trip: |
Watching
the most
vicious
strikes
of any
type of
fish in
the world,
gorgeous
sunsets,
watching
loud
squawking
parrots,
macaws
and toucans
fly overhead,
experiencing
the immensity
and isolation
of the
Amazon.
Alejandro,
our host,
was extremely
knowledgable,
very interesting
and personable,
and spoke
very good
English. |

Yes |
| Why? |
Great
fishing
in a
unique
part
of the
world.
I would
make
sure
they
understand
that
the trip
is physically
demanding.
River
Plate
also
uses
a tent
barge concept
pulled
by a
shallow
draft
boat
that
allows access
beyond
sandbars
and other
river
barriers.
The
camp was
moved
every
other
day or
so, allowing
us to
fish
new water
without
a long
ride
to get
there. |
